Description
Petition on behalf of Vincent de Paul asking PF to grant full missionary patents to Toussaint Bourdaise, who had been sent to Madagascar a few years before as companion for Jean-François Mousnier, (who in turn had been named apostolic missionary by PF on 10 February 1653). Vincent de Paul also asks that Mousnier be declared prefect of the Madagascar mission, since he has just received news of the previous prefect's death (Charles Nacquart). The nuncio to France also joins a letter recommending Mousnier.
