Description
Minutes of PF general meeting of 10 July 1657 discussing among other issues, a question regarding the abbot of Luthumier and several missionaries of the institute that he founded. PF had previously decided that they should receive missionary faculties, however, now [PF secretary Mario Alberizzi] needs to know whether they will have to swear in front of the nuncio that they will remain loyal to PF. Alberizzi also asks whether it is enough to put a condition in the faculties, stating that they will not be granted permission to utilise them, if they do not show obedience to PF. The cardinals decided to leave this issue to the judgment of Cardinal Di Bagno.
