Description
Minutes of PF general meeting of 18 March 1652 discussing among other issues, the request by Recollect Father Cristiano Vllieul to be appointed prefect of the mission in Madagascar, and to be sent there with five companions with the usual faculties and provisions. The cardinals state that the mission has been given to the priests of CM, therefore this request does not need to be answered. They order that Vincent de Paul should be asked to send four of his missionaries to the island, after they have been approved by the nuncio.
