Description
Copy of a letter from PF to the nuncio to France, Nicolò Guidi di Bagno. The original letter was accompanied by a bill of exchange of 200 scudi, for the provisions of the Scottish missionaries Guglielmo Bauentino [William Ballentyne], and Gioua[n]ni [John] Walker, covering the second and last year of their ministry. Since they have asked that their work in the mission be extended, PF asks the nuncio to give precise information about what they have accomplished so far in Scotland. The provisions should be sent to the two missionaries by way of their procurator. The letter dated 14 February 1653.
