Letter from the nuncio to France, Giovanni Francesco Guidi di Bagno, to PF Secretary Ingoli accompanying: a) a letter from the reigning queen (Anna of Austria) recommending CM to French Ambassador de Béthune; b) the second petition in 1628 for PF approval of CM; and c) the nuncio's own recommendation addressed to Cardinal Ludovisi. In this letter to Ingoli, the nuncio shortly mentions that the "missionaries" want "something more" and that he strongly recommends the matter to Ludovisi. The first part of the letter refers to a different matter (an Arabic typeset requested by the PF printing house).
