Description
Minutes of PF general meeting discussing, among other issues, the letter from the nuncio to France mentioning the French queen's offer to provide 400 scudi/year to the bishop of Babylon in case he leaves the bishopric of Babylon in the hands of the pope and allows the nuncio to nominate a different candidate for the bishop position (with the approval of the queen). PF decided to wait for the nomination but advised caution towards allowing the queen too much influence on the matter, lest the French crown gradually begin to claim the right to nominate all bishops of Babylon in the future.
