Description

Minutes of PF general meeting of 7 March 1650 discussing among other issues, a petition sent by William Ballantyne, in which he asks that he and John Walker be appointed missionaries in Scotland, and be given an annual provision. The cardinals consented to this proposal and to a provision of 50 scudi. However, the money and the faculties will be sent to the nuncio to France, as he must judge if they are suitable for the mission. If not, the nuncio should send the money and faculties back to PF.
