Description
Minutes of PF general meeting of 5 March 1652, held in the presence of pope Innocent X. Discussed among other issues, is the decree that PF issued on 9 February 1652 regarding the bishopric of Babylon. The bishop, who should have gone to his bishopric did not do so on account of being ill, however, he keeps changing his nomination for the candidate he wants to appoint as his coadjutor. Therefore PF has decided that he must either go to his residence (in Babylon), or renounce his see. The pope approves the decree and adds that the bishop cannot exercise his duties in another diocese.
