Description
Petition on behalf of Philippe Le Vacher, vicar apostolic in Algiers to PF. He asks for the faculty to consecrate altar stones and chalices, as sometimes the chalices are either stolen by the Turks, or are gilded again; he also notes that there is currently no bishop to consecrate them.

Date based on the discussion of a petition with the same subject which was in March 1657. APF ACTA 25, 64r-v, issue 1 (database item 520). However it might also be earlier since other document from this SOCG are also from an earlier date.
