Description
Minutes of PF general meeting of 11 June 1657 discussing among other issues, a request by the vicar apostolic of Achonry, James Fallon. He asks for the faculty to consecrate chalices and altar stones, and to grant dispensation for the forth, third, and in certain circumstances the second degree of consanguinity. He also asks for the faculties that are normally given to ordinaries when there is no bishop, and for the license to communicate them to other priests. The cardinals decided to send a request for the usual faculties to the Holy Office.
