Minutes of PF general meeting of 30 June 1659 discussing among other issues, the salary that should be assigned to the newly appointed coadjutor of the bishopric of Babylon, Placido de Chemin. The cardinals decided to ask the nuncio to France to find out from the bishop of Babylon how much he can offer. The nuncio should also find out what living quarters and furnishings the bishop has [in Babylon], and whether he had paid for them himself, as he claims. Lastly it should be remembered that PF had set the maximum [of the salary] at 300 scudi.
