Description

Letter from PF to the nuncio to France [Carlo Roberti de' Vittori]. PF have been waiting for CM superior [René Alméras] to propose an Irish missionary to go to Scotland, instead of Gio' Bianchi [John White]. PF have waited a very long time for Alméras to propse a candidate, and had decided that because of the scarsity of missionaries, the delay cannot continue. PF asks de' Vittori to try again to convince Alméras to let John White go to Scotland. If necessary he should provide John White with 40 scudi to cover the cost of his travel, which PF will give back to him later.
