The attached letter from Francesco Gatta (a missionary in Tunis) to the nuncio, recounts how this boy endured many sufferings because his brothers and Father wanted him to become a Jew, as they had; the boy however refused. He is now in Livorno, but wants to go to Rome when his quarantine finishes. During their meeting of 7 February 1678 the cardinals decided to help this boy, and write to a certain "Iulio de’ Angelis" in Livorno, to find out if he knows anything about the case. </text>
